Packet pick-up and race day registration is as follows:

Friday: Packet pick-up and registration only this day. Packets can be picked up in Elberta Town Park at the gazebo with the blue roof, which is where vendors for the Sausage Festival will also be checking in. Pick-up time is 3PM-7PM.

Saturday: Packet pick-up and race day registration will take place at Elberta Middle School (13355 Main St, Elberta, AL 36530) on the north side of the school. Races will start on Kichler Circle South.

Distance:

Runners follow a flat, certified 5K course through the country side around Elberta, AL. The Fun Run is approximately 1 mile.

Registration:

Register by mail at EVFD, PO Box 152, Elberta, AL 36530 (entries should be postmarked by October 22), in person at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on October 27, or online (Events.com) until 4 AM, October 28. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6:30 – 7:45 AM at Elberta Middle School.

Awards:

5K: Top male and female, and top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-75, 75+

FUN RUN: Top 3 overall boys and girls, must be registered for the FUN RUN. Starts at 9:00 AM

Shirts:

To guarantee a shirt on race day, your application must be received by October 15.

Post-Race Party:

Awards, music, and food at the Elberta’s German Sausage Festival.
