Andrew has over 25 years’ experience in investment banking having held senior positions at UBS (Head of Investment Banking Australasia and Global Head of Real Estate) and JP Morgan (Executive Chairman, Investment Banking Australasia).

In 2009 he co-founded Moelis Australia. Moelis Australia was initially a 50:50 joint venture between NYSE listed global investment bank Moelis & Company and its Australian executives. In 2017 Moelis Australia listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. Moelis Australia has offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Shanghai and Beijing. Its activities include corporate advisory, specialising in M&A, restructuring and equity capital markets. It also has significant operations in asset management. Over the past decade it has been involved in many of Australia’s largest corporate transactions and has in excess of $3 billion of assets under management across real estate, credit, venture capital and private equity.

Andrew has been a director of AFL club the Sydney Swans since 2002 and it’s Chairman since 2013.

He was raised in Adelaide and is an Alumni of the University of South Australia. He is a very successful businessman and his foundation donated $5 million to Uni SA where he was educated. He has now had a hall named after him on Uni SA campus.
