2020 Copper Triangle

209 Ten Mile Cir, Copper Mountain, CO 80443, USA

DESCRIPTION

WE’LL RIDE AGAIN SOON

For the last few months we have watched as the COVID-19 pandemic has made waves around the world. We’ve spent that time working in close partnership with city and county agencies to make the best, safest and most educated decision possible for the well-being of our community as well as yours.

Summit County continues to limit large gatherings and Lake County has elected to not approve special event applications through the balance of the summer.  Even with recent variances and some restrictions softening, we support these public health measures and therefore have cancelled the 2020 edition of Copper Triangle on August 1.

We truly appreciate your patience as we explored options during this very challenging time and we look forward to hosting you at another Roll Massif event in the future.

DATES: August 1, 2020

Graced with breathtaking scenery, gorgeous roads and three challenging climbs, Copper Triangle is Colorado’s classic alpine cycling event. The 79-mile course features a total elevation gain of 6,500 feet, starting and finishing in the center of Copper Mountain Resort at Burning Stones Plaza. Ample aid stations and enthusiastic support along the route will ensure that you have an epic day in the saddle.

Join Team DPF

Since 2006, registration fees and fundraising efforts tied to the Copper Triangle have resulted in more than $1 million for the Davis Phinney Foundation. You can further support the cause by donating or joining Team DPF. Thanks in advance for your contribution in helping people who live with Parkinson’s live well today.

Start Time

Please plan to begin your ride between 6 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. All riders must be on the road by 8:00 a.m. We encourage riders to begin early to avoid afternoon mountain thunderstorms and highway traffic. Colorado State Patrol will not allow anyone to start prior to first light (5:45 a.m.) and all cyclists must have both a front and back light on their bike.

What will you receive?

  • Fully stocked aid stations along the course
  • Post-ride lunch and Alpine Celebration with exhibitors and live music
  • 2020 custom event merchandise
  • A chance to win dozens of valuable prizes
  • Ride credentials

Youth & Development:

For a limited time, we are offering youth/children 18 years and younger the opportunity to participate for free.

In true cycling tradition, the Copper Triangle will take place regardless of weather; therefore refunds will not be provided.
