4th Annual Fairport Yard Sale Weekend, May 16-18, 2025

Fairport, NY — Fairport is gearing up for its 4th Annual Fairport Yard Sale Weekend, taking place from Friday, May 16 through Sunday, May 18, 2025. Held each year on the third weekend of May, this highly anticipated community event will feature more than 150 individual yard sales spread across the village and town, drawing shoppers from throughout Western New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and beyond.

 

This year’s event promises an even larger selection of items and experiences. In addition to traditional garage sale offerings, several homes will feature big-ticket items such as a new in box exercise bike, original Pleasant Company American Girl items, a new-in-box full size basketball hoop with base, a like new snowblower, Dyson vacuum cleaners and kayaks.

 

To enhance the shopping experience, QR codes will be prominently displayed at each sale location. When scanned with a smartphone, these codes will link to an interactive, real-time map, allowing visitors to efficiently plan their route and discover nearby sales.

 

“This event continues to grow each year, and it’s become more than just a yard sale weekend—it’s a celebration of community,” said a spokesperson from the Fairport Yard Sale Weekend Committee. “Residents are excited to welcome neighbors and visitors alike into their yards, garages, and driveways.”

 

Adding to the festive atmosphere will be The Barking Bun food cart, offering local eats throughout the weekend, and over 20 kid-run lemonade stands, giving young entrepreneurs the chance to participate and engage with the community.
