Hamomi 5k is a race put on with all proceeds donated to Hamomi Children's Centre in Nairobi, Kenya, a sponsored project of Lift Up Africa.

Hamomi Children’s Centre improves the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Nairobi, Kenya by allowing them to develop into adults with the skills necessary to improve their own social and economic condition. They offer comprehensive care by creating a safe and nurturing environment through which we provide the widest array of opportunities possible.

This event is being put on by Lindsay Hermes, not by Hamomi or Lift Up Africa. Entrance fees are not tax-deductible, but rather payments to participate in the race.
