Manchester Community Music School is thrilled to host a special performance featuring MCMS Alumnus Roric Cunningham on Monday, January 15, 2024, at 7:00pm. Mr. Cunningham and pianist Elizabeth Blood will perform works by Dvořák, Saint-Säens, Boccherini, Debussy, and Florence Price.
The concert will be held at Manchester Community Music School 2291 Elm St. Manchester, NH. Tickets are $15 for adults, students under 21 are free. For tickets visit www.mcmusicschool.org.
Upon graduating from The Julliard School of Music in May of 2023, Cunningham was accepted into the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He spent the summer playing with the Verbier Festival Orchestra in Switzerland. Upon his return, he began touring Europe with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and will be performing with them for their 23-24 concert season.
Cunningham was a student at the Music School for four years where he studied under the direction of Harel Gietheim. He also played as principal cellist in the Manchester Community Music School’s Dino Anagnost Youth Symphony Orchestra of New Hampshire.
The Manchester Community Music School is located in historic north Manchester. As a non-profit organization, the school is dedicated to supporting the artistic development of the community through a variety of programs, classes, and outreach, both in-house and off-site.
