Promenade at Coconut Creek, a high-end, retail complex located in Coconut Creek, Florida (https://promenadeatcoconutcreek.com), invites the community to celebrate National Dog Week by joining in its “Yappy Hour” event on Friday, September 27th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the plaza next to Silverspot Cinema. National Dog Week, held this year from September 24 through September 30, is an inspiring celebration of dogs, their importance to people, and the ongoing efforts to improve life for all dogs. Guests are invited to bring their four-legged furry friends for an evening of socializing and learning about local animal rescue organizations. Enjoy engaging activities for both humans and pups with pet-related giveaways, pet-friendly booths, and capture the bond between human and furry friend at a photo opportunity. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet adoptable animals looking for their forever homes and learn more about how they can support the local rescue community. Local rescue groups will be on hand to share information about their organizations and the services they provide to shelter and protect local pets. Guests can also learn more about pet-friendly services from local businesses attending the event, including Garbizo Animal Clinic, Village Pet Care, 2gether Furever, Hunter Pet Store, Pours by MH, Chateau Poochie, Zoom Room Dog Training, Suncoast Basset Rescue, K9 Resorts Pompano Beach, and the Pompano Pet Lodge. Alcohol will only be served to those over 21 with valid ID. Promenade at Coconut Creek welcomes leashed, well-behaved dogs and recently installed eight dog waste stations for its furry friends.
