To help families learn more about the importance of Earth Day, Fox Valley, a three-story shopping center serving generations of Aurora/Naperville-area visitors (www.ShopFoxValleyMall.com), will host an educational Earth Day-themed event on Friday, April 19th, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Center Park. During this event, Crosstown Exotics will showcase nearly a dozen reptiles, amphibians and insects, including an albino python, turtles and tortoises, lizards, an African giant bullfrog, a warty toad, and a number of interesting bugs. By exploring the prehistoric world of reptiles and amphibians and how they have been able to survive since the age of the dinosaurs, the program will teach environmental awareness and basic conservation principles as well as provide hands-on interactions that highlight the importance of preserving animal and insect habitats and ecosystems. This event is free of charge and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. To learn more, visit https://bit.ly/3x5FZ4x.
