Free film screening of Defiance

110 W 57th St, New York, NY 10019, USA

DESCRIPTION

The Jewish Partisan Educational Foundation (JPEF) is hosting a free film screening of Defiance in New York City.

The screening, open to the community, is geared towards educators and students; free curriculum materials will be available for all educators. A Q&A with director Ed Zwick, screenwriter Clay Frohman, and Brendon Rennert, grandson of Tuvia Bielski, will take place following the film.

For more than two decades, JPEF has fought antisemitism by teaching how the Jewish partisans fought against those determined to annihilate them, saved thousands of Jews, and hastened the war's end. JPEF teaches this generation to safely and lawfully fight against antisemitism and hate.
