Intro to Beekeeping & Honey Tasting with Don Merrill at Mandala Springs

Learn hands-on with beekeeping basics in this workshop led by Don Merrill of No Bull Beekeeping. You’ll leave with a starter booklet, beekeeping journal, and sweet insight—plus enjoy herbal tea with local honey. Don offers practical insights into starting your own hive, using tools and suits, and understanding the essential role bees play as pollinators.

This event is part of Mandala Springs’ Buzz & Bloom weekend filled with activities, including a vegetarian feast in the garden catered by The Henny Penny, and nature art experiences led by Dr. Erin Partridge for both children and adults. Our fire pit will be lit each evening with s’mores available for purchase. Complimentary yoga class for overnight guests. Dinner, nature art experiences, and lodging are available for separate booking.
