SF Bay Area Joins Global Day of Action for Just Peace in Israel and Palestine

On May 3, Bay Area Peace Activists will gather at Lake Merritt Amphitheater in Oakland for an afternoon of collective creativity supporting a vision of peace and justice in Israel and Palestine. This event will be one of more than 20 coordinated solidarity actions taking place across North America, Europe, and Australia in solidarity with the “It’s Time People’s Peace Summit” in Jerusalem. The afternoon will include Palestinian, Israeli & American speakers as well as live music and a large-scale community protest art project.

“The act of continuing to imagine and create a future without occupation, one where all the people from the river to the sea are equal and free, is what this event is about at its core.”
