Join the Chrysler Drive for Autism Awareness at Surfers Healing 5K

On Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19, the Chrysler Brand will host the Chrysler Drive for Autism Awareness at the Surfers Healing 5K hosted by the Autism Society Tidewater Virginia.

In partnership with the Autism Society of America, Chrysler is hosting a Chrysler Pacifica test drive, product demonstration, and fundraiser to increase awareness and support for individuals with autism and their loved ones. With each test drive and product demonstration of the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid, Chrysler will donate $50 to the Autism Society of America. Chrysler will donate up to $100,000 in total from the Chrysler Drive for Autism Awareness program which runs through November, culminating at the 2023 LA Auto Show.

In select Pacifica minivans, attendees can experience the Calm Cabin Package which has been created to help those with autism feel calm, safe, and comfortable while traveling. The Calm Cabin Package includes a seat-back organizer with adjustable straps, a rechargeable cordless Bluetooth meditative light and sound therapy machine, a comforting seat belt sleeve, a soft-touch pillow, and a weighted sensory blanket.

On Friday, August 18 during the 5K packet pick-up from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., test drive the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica plug-in hybrid. On Saturday, August 19, attendees can speak with product specialists while checking out vehicle features at the event location.

Attendees who visit and register at the space will also receive a branded item from Chrysler as a thank-you while supplies last. Test drivers are automatically entered for a chance to win the 2023 Stellantis Sweepstakes where one (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a vehicle credit in the amount of $100,000 valid toward the winner’s choice of a Stellantis vehicle from the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram Truck or Fiat brands. A winner will be announced in 2024.

All proceeds from the 2023 Surfer’s Healing 5K will benefit Surfers Healing Viriginia Beach, a non-profit organization that hosts free surf camps for individuals with Autism and the Autism Society Tidewater Viriginia, the local affiliate of the Autism Society of America.
