Kids Day at the Zoo

Kids Day at the Zoo is fun plus kids ages 17 and under have free zoo entry during the event on Saturday, April 26th. Adults pay regular rates or use their zoo membership. This event is sponsored by Global Credit Union. Zoo hours and activities are 10am-5pm, last entry at 4:30pm. Old and new admissions will be utilized to reduce lines. The entry point at the old admissions cabin will be credit card payment only, with all payments accepted at the main entrance.

Satellite Parking and Shuttle: We will be offering a free shuttle and satellite parking at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church on O'Malley Road for this event, courtesy of Global Credit Union. You can park there and take the bus to and from the zoo. You can also park your car there and meet friends, then carpool to the zoo. The shuttle will run from Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church on O'Malley Road starting at 9:45am. Event activities are 10am to 5pm at the zoo. Please be kind to zoo neighbors - event parking is on zoo property or at Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church on O'Malley Road only! Please note that the Petting Zoo is closed due to spring mud, however visitors can pet the goats if they come over to the fence.

Activities 10-5 include zoo animal enrichment, mascots roaming the zoo trails for pictures, (main entry) Welcome table inside the zoo, (picnic area) Game center, (Discovery Center) moose awareness, biofacts, (old entry) welcome tent/credit card entry, cotton candy, photo booth, animal trivia prize wheel, food trucks "High Five Handpies" and "Trendy Eats 907", animal tattoos, 360 photo booth, free shuttle between zoo and Holy Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church on O'Malley Road, Kape Espresso Tayo Zoo Coffee Shop and the Gift Shop will be open for business.
