Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences Presents ARTHUR™ & FRIENDS MAKE A MUSICAL!

Big things are happening at Lakewood Elementary School as  Marriott Theatre for Young Audiences continues its children’s theatre season with an all-new musical adaptation of the beloved children’s books and television show, ARTHUR™  & FRIENDS MAKE A MUSICAL! Full of warmth and humor, this production will touch the hearts of children and grown-ups alike this summer, running July 11 through August 10, with a press opening on Saturday, July 19 at 10 a.m., located at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. The one-hour musical journey is directed and choreographed by Tommy Rivera-Vega with musical direction by Otto Vogel. Each performance will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the cast.   

Mr. Ratburn’s class has been tasked with writing and performing a big show for all of Elwood City. Everyone is thrilled—everyone, except Arthur. As the performance draws nearer, Arthur's nerves only grow. But with support from his family and friends—Buster, Brain, Francine, Muffy, and even his little sister, D.W.—Arthur discovers the value of embracing his unique self in this brand-new family musical. 

ARTHUR & FRIENDS MAKE A MUSICAL! plays most Wednesdays through Sundays at 10 am with select 12:30 pm performances. An ASL-interpreted performance will take place on August 9th at 10 am.
