NextStep Orlando is pleased to announce our 15th Annual Walk-n-Roll-a-Thon event happening Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.
NOTE: This event was originally scheduled for October 12, 2024 but was rescheduled due to Hurricane Milton.
NextStep Orlando, a non-profit organization, helps those paralyzed from a spinal cord injury, stroke, brain injury or other neurological disorders. We provide access to activity-based therapies that promote functional recovery and improve the health and quality of life for people living with paralysis.
This heartwarming event is the highlight of our year where we can showcase the hard work of our client’s and their recovery journey as they “WALK” down the red carpet. It is truly breathtaking to see! Our clients come from Orlando and surrounding communities, as well as some out-of-state. We get an overwhelming response from those who witness this grand event. It's a real tear jerker when you hear a client's story of being injured and hopelessly told they were never going to walk again as they are progressing down a Red Carpet in front of hundreds!
We are excited to have Lisa Bell and Ginger Gadsden from News 6 returning to emcee the event, and we encourage everyone in the community to attend and show their support!
