ONE COLORADO INVITES GUESTS TO ITS ‘BEE KIND TO OUR PLANET” EARTH DAY EVENT

41 Hugus Aly, Pasadena, CA 91103, USA

DESCRIPTION

One Colorado, an unforgettable shopping and dining destination in the heart of Old Pasadena, just a few miles from downtown Los Angeles (https://www.onecolorado.com), invites the community to celebrate Earth Day during its buzzworthy "BEE Kind to Our Planet” event on Saturday, April 26th, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. To draw attention to the important role bees play in a thriving ecosystem, both by pollinating nearby plants and creating honey which is rich in antioxidants, ShopCore Properties, owner and manager of One Colorado, installed beehives at 30 of its properties in 12 states last year, including at One Colorado. In preparation for the center’s upcoming Earth Day event, One Colorado has been harvesting and packaging honey from its very own beehive and will offer it to the community as a free gift at its “BEE Kind to Our Planet” 2025 Earth Day event which honors the environment and the planet’s vital pollinators. During the event, guests will enjoy a variety of eco-friendly activities, including a pollinator plant workshop with a DIY mini potted plant to take home and nurture; a candle-making workshop where guests can craft their own honey-infused candle for a small donation that will support a local charity; an opportunity to meet and interact with real beekeepers to learn about these amazing creatures; and a number of sustainable shopping experiences that provide visitors with an opportunity to support eco-conscious businesses and discover products that are kind to the Earth. There will be free honeybee lemonade crafted with honey harvested from One Colorado’s own beehives, and a free jar of locally harvested honey that will be given to the first 100 guests who sign up for One Colorado’s Mobile Program and follow the center on Instagram; guests can claim their jar of honey at the honey booth during the event. While this event is free of charge and open to the public, the candle-making workshop does require a donation and advance registration to attend; to register for the candle-making workshop, visit https://bit.ly/4ichCER. Lemonade, craft and workshop supplies, and complimentary honey jars are while supplies last. To learn more, click here or visit https://www.onecolorado.com/events.
