DESCRIPTION

Many legislators seem supportive of phones out of schools, but the Senate and House Education Committees are not prioritizing it. We need to bring our enthusiasm to give a friendly but firm nudge to all reps and senators to make sure we make the most of this opportunity!

Plan for the day:

9am-10am: Welcome and orientation to H.54 / S.21, practice and prep for conversations with reps in Room 10 (coffee and muffins)

10am: Circulate the statehouse (to have conversations where possible)

11-noon: Community testimony in Room 11 (the room can hold 100 people--let's pack it!)

Noon-1pm: Circulate the statehouse to try to have conversations with legislators during lunch
