Sonny Acres Farm Hosts "Big & Bright Trail of Lights" Festival Featuring Walking Lights Trail, Santa Visits, Fresh Trees & More

Known for their iconic Fall Festival experience, Sonny Acres Farm, 29W310 North Ave., is thrilled to introduce the "Big & Bright Trail of Lights Festival", officially open for the holiday season beginning Friday, November 22. The beloved West Chicago amusement farm will transform into a complete holiday haven featuring everything from an enchanted mile-long walking trail with dazzling sights and sounds including a Christmas Story house replica to farm fresh trees of all varietals  and sizes, handmade wreaths and professional photos with the Big Man himself by reservation in Santa's Workshop on the farm. Guests of all ages will find delicious treats and eats from loaded hot cocoa, seasonal adult beverages and s'mores kits to roast over the farm's cozy fire pits. The farm will also host a special Christmas market perfect for holiday gifting featuring 20+ local makers, artists and artisans. The farm will be closed to the public on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, although families and friends will have the chance to enjoy the lights experience through December 30.

WONDER IN AWE AT THE BIG AND BRIGHT TRAIL OF LIGHTS
Holiday lovers of all ages will revel in the multi-sensory wonderland as they stroll the mile-long sparkling walking trail featuring larger than life holiday displays with millions of twinkling lights set to holiday classics. While on the property, guests can indulge in sweet holiday treats ranging from hot cider and cocoa to gourmet chocolates and treats. To celebrate the kickoff of the holiday season, Santa will flip the switch to the trail of lights on Friday, November 22 at 6PM.Tickets to the Big & Bright Trail of Lights are available for $17 for adults ages 18+ and $12 for children ages 3-17 via TIXR. Visitors that purchase a ticket for opening night on (November 22nd) will enjoy a free selfie with Santa in celebration of opening for the season. The Big & Bright Trail of Lights will be available to enjoy every Thursday (5-9pm - excludes Thanksgiving), Friday (5-9pm), Saturday (5-9pm) and Sunday (5-8pm).

VISIT WITH SANTA IN HIS WORKSHOP FOR PROFESSIONAL HOLIDAY PHOTOS
The big man himself will be available by appointment all season long for visits and professional photo opportunities. Visits with Santa will be available by appointment only for $28 per family at the following times:
Fridays (6:00 - 8:00 pm) beginning November 29th
Special Added Hours of 10:30 - 4:30 pm for Black Friday ONLY
Saturdays (10:30 am - 4:30 pm & 6 pm - 8 pm)
Sundays (10:30 am - 4:30 pm)
Reservations are available via TIXR and include a professional keepsake photo to take home.

TAKE HOME A FARM FRESH TREE AND HANDMADE WREATH
Beginning Monday, November 25th, guests will have the opportunity to take home stunning farm fresh trees of all sizes and varietals including but not limited to Frasier Fir, Balsam Fir, Douglas Fir, White Pine and Scotch Pine. Sonny Acres Farm is proud to offer a full-service Christmas tree shopping experience with staff ready and able to fresh cut, bale and load for transport, prepare wreaths and more for a one-stop holiday decor destination.
