The Forge Celebrates 3 years with a FREE Festival this Weekend!

Come join us for a 3-day festival to celebrate our 3rd Birthday with live music throughout the entire weekend, including renowned cover band Maggie Speaks, Saturday night’s firework show, and Sunday’s Family Fun!

Three years of adventures calls for 3 days of celebration! We’re filling the weekend with fun that encapsulates all that The Forge stands for: exhilaration, education, and entertainment! Get ready to spend the weekend outside in our gorgeous park with live music, entertainment, family-friendly activities, hands-on educational workshops, volunteer opportunities, challenging races, and more!

For a festival like no other, come out to The Forge: Lemont Quarries from Friday, July 14th to Sunday, July 16th, and enjoy all that The Forge has to offer!

ON FRIDAY, JULY 14TH:

To kick off our Forge Fest, we will be offering our Climb & Zipline Adventure but at night with our “Glow In The Park” experience from 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm! This night climb takes all the thrill of climbing and ziplining but with colorful, cosmic lights illuminating the towers. Tickets are currently available!

For running and biking enthusiasts, we also will be racing the trails on Friday night. Our 15K Twilight Bike Race will begin at 6:00 pm as the sun begins to descend. Our 10K and 5K Trail Runs will toe the line at 8:15 pm, as the sun hits the horizon. Because of our special entry fee, competitors will have the option to do either the run or bike, or both, all included in one entry fee!

ON SATURDAY, JULY 15TH:

Saturday is a full day of summer fun at The Forge! With FREE entry to enjoy a lineup of food trucks, live music, activities, and more, Forge Fest is the place to be this weekend. Maggie Speaks will be headlining the night on July 15th at 6:00 pm, followed by a spectacular firework show after dusk! Grab your lawn chair, picnic blanket, and friends for an awesome night in Lemont. Also, stay tuned for surprise Forge Fest exclusive offers on tickets and passes to all of The Forge’s amazing attractions like their Climb & Zipline Adventure, Explorer Activities, and more!

ON SUNDAY, JULY 16TH:

One thing to know about The Forge is that they have something for everyone! On Sunday, July 16th The Forge will host the ultimate Family Fun Day for FREE, complete with a foam party, acrobat show, photobooth, pet rescue, therapy ponies, and plenty of hands-on workshops and activities for families of all ages to enjoy. Of course, no fest is complete without live music and food trucks, so be sure to stop by and see performers, like Led Zeppelin 2, and food trucks will be in The Mount Lawn on our final day of Forge Fest!
