The largest and oldest festival of Islamic Arts in the United States will take place November 15th and 16th at the University of Houston. The festival will feature artists from across the country.
The 2025 festival is set to celebrate diverse forms of Islamic arts, including calligraphy, Ebru, henna, music, paintings, and woodwork. It will also feature a captivating live Sufi music program and a stand-up Muslim comedy show. The event will also host a film festival, a spoken word program, an art workshop, and an academic seminar.
With over 5,000 pieces of art by more than 50 artists on display, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy, appreciate, and purchase art. They can also engage in interactive art sessions, live art demonstrations, children's art activities, learn about Islamic art and culture, attend workshops, and savor ethnic food.
