The Arc of Whatcom County's Down syndrome Outreach Program presents the 14th Annual Buddy Walk of Whatcom County. The Buddy Walk is a national advocacy & awareness program developed by the National Down Syndrome Society. Buddy Walks around the world promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome and to raise funds for local & national programs to enhance the position of the Down syndrome community. Money raised at the 14th Annual Buddy Walk of Whatcom County supports families and individuals with Down syndrome with education, inclusion and awareness in our community.

This year's event will be held Sunday October 8, 2017 at Depot Market Square. We'll have a brand new 2/3rds of a mile walk route that will take us around beautiful downtown Bellingham.
