An annual event for for over 20 years, the Frosbite Run is a 7km race (clock timing) that attracts between 100 and 125 participants. To add a festive touch, runners are encouraged to dress up for the season - Santa hats, jingle bells and the like are encouraged.

The event begins at the Neebing Roadhouse on the corner of Highway 61 and Cava Road (parking provided). Runners and walkers travel down the 20th Side Road, up the hill past Kamview Nordic Centre, turning right down West Riverdale to the turnaround and then back to the start. The road is still open during the event, so runners/walkers must stay to the left; volunteers will be on the course as well as police.

All finishers will receive a special medal! A delicious lunch of burgers (including vegetarian and gluten free options) will follow and is included in the fee; unfortunately we cannot order off the menu until after the burgers has been served.

Door prizes for everyone. Prizes for top female/male, best dressed individual, best dressed family group as well as a mystery prize.

The Neebing has agreed to make a limited number of regular burgers gluten free (with a gluten free bun) as well as a limited number of vegetarian burgers gluten free (with a gluten free bun).
