TEAM RACING

Team Racing at the OCR World Championships focuses on the concept of specialization within Obstacle Course Racing. Teams consist of three athletes, racing in relay format, on a course specially designed course in four separate legs – each one targeting a key discipline of OCR: speed, strength, technique, and teamwork. Athletes are encouraged to strategically devise teams based on these key disciplines. For example, the ideal team may consist of a running specialist for the running leg, a stronger athlete for the strength based obstacles leg, and an obstacle specialist for the technical obstacle leg.

The following divisions are available:

  • Pro Men
  • Pro Women
  • Pro Co-ed (one female minimum)
  • Open Men
  • Open Women
  • Open Co-ed (one female minimum)

There is no qualification requirement for the Team Competition. Cash prizes are awarded only in Pro Divisions. Members may change positions without notifying OCR World.
