This event is the longest consecutively held running event in the state of Hawaii, the oldest marathon west of the Mississippi River! Not only that, it has been chosen as one of the top 10 Most Scenic Marathons in the nation by Runner’s World magazine (Feb. 96), and the #10 destination marathon in North America, by the Ultimate Guide to Marathons.

NEW FOR 2019!
Our Expo & race packet pick up will be held for 1-1/2 days on Friday, October 11th from 12 noon to 5pm and on Saturday, October 12th from 9:00am-5:00pm. There will be no race day packet pick up.

Also new for 2019, a Virtual Run option is available for the Full and Half Marathons. Maui Marathon swag will be mailed out to all Virtual runners after October 13th (TO U.S. POSTAL ADDRESSES ONLY).

Online registration closes at midnight on October 4th. Event t-shirts will be ordered on September 20th. After that date there is no guarantee for a t-shirt or the correct size.

Valley Isle Road Runners club members receive a 20% discount on entries for the full and half marathon distances only until September 30, 2019 (discount does not apply to Early Entry, 10K, 5K or Relay entry fees). Send an email to registration@mauimarathon.com for a discount code.

Please Note: Event Insurance is available for purchase during the online registration process. Event Insurance may NOT be purchased after you submit your online registration. Please click here to view details on event insurance. Entry fees are nonrefundable and nontransferable under all circumstances. Once we receive and accept your entry, the event will not issue a refund if you cannot participate and you may not sell your race number to anyone else.
