The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is one of the longest standing running traditions in the Midwest. Celebrating its 42nd anniversary in 2019, it is one of the 50 oldest marathons in the US.
The race spans over two days including May 18 & 19, 2019 and includes a variety of distances.
Saturday, May 18 events include a 5k, 8k, 1-Miler and Kids Run.
Sunday, May 19 events include Full Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k.
Challenge Series events include one event from each Saturday and Sunday; runners are required to run two consecutive days.
All event participants receive a race shirt and finisher medal. Challenge Series events also receive a third medal and a special gift.
The Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier. Both the Marathon and the 10K are USATF certified courses.
All events take place in the heart of downtown Cleveland and race courses showcase many of Cleveland's finest landmarks.
