The San Diego Track Club is hosting multiple events October 12, 2019 in the Tecolote Shores area of Mission Bay Park.
The 2019 Ursula Rains Balboa Boogie 5K Open race is again part of the USATF San Diego/Imperial Dirt Dog Cross Country Series and is being held at Tecolote Shores in San Diego's Mission Bay Park in conjunction with the USATF Masters 5 km Cross Country National Championships and a Kids 1K Fun Run. All three 5K races use the same course, a challenging 3-loop course on grass and rolling hills which finishes on a northbound straight away. The Kids 1K run uses the same start and finish lines as the 5K. The kids will run an out-and-back course along E Mission Bay Drive and finish the race going south through the finish line.
Registration Note: Non-Championship Masters (Masters athletes NOT running in the October 12th USATF Masters 5 km Championship races) may race in the Ursula Rains Open 5K race but will not be scored or be eligible for awards.
Check-In & Packet Pick Up for All Pre-Registered competitors:
