COVID-19 UPDATE: The Race Has Been Cancelled For This Year. The Safety And Health Of Our Participants, Volunteers, And Community Are Top Priority

ALL CURRENT PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DEFERRED TO THE 2021 RACE OR MAY DONATE THEIR ENTRY TO THE MT. SNEFFELS EDUCATION FOUNDATION.

We recognize, and share, the difficult and uncertain times communities across the country are experiencing. The Mt. Sneffels Race Event is the major source of funding educational and cultural programs for over 500 children in our small mountain community. 

Without your support of the race, the children’s educational and cultural programs will be heavily impacted.

We hope you and your loved ones continue to remain safe and COVID19 free as Colorado, and the rest of the USA, begins to navigate through this pandemic. Through this process, our team respects the need for social distancing and the successes of ‘Safer at Home’ guidance provided by health officials. While our races are outdoors, they require a significant amount of resources to make it safe for your participation. We considered many scenarios, including postponing our races, but with current uncertainties, and under the advisement of health and local authorities, sadly, we are unable to provide an in-person event experience this year. As a result, it is our hope that our community will remain protected and healthy. We wish the same for your family, friends and community, too!
