2023 San Diego Half Marathon & 5K

Join us for the 12th annual San Diego Half Marathon and 5K - FIVE miles of waterfront, FOUR historic communities, THREE beautiful parks, TWO miles through downtown San Diego, and ONE epic Gaslamp finish!

Not up for a half marathon? No problem! Run or walk our exciting 5K in the heart of downtown San Diego. This 3.1-mile race starts in front of the San Diego Convention Center and finishes in the Gaslamp Quarter, just like the half marathon.

NEW START TIMES IN 2023

The half marathon starts at 6:50 a.m. (limited to 5000 participants)

The 5K starts at 6:30 a.m. (limited to 1000 participants)

There is a 3 1/2-hour time limit to complete the half marathon. All participants must maintain a 16:02-minute-per-mile pace or faster throughout the event.

There is a 1-hour time limit to complete the 5K. All participants must maintain a 19:21-minute-mile pace or faster throughout the event.
