The Whitewater King of New York Race series has been held annually since 2011. The race series consists of 3 races on 2 different rivers during American Whitewater’s federally licensed recreational dam releases within the Adirondack mountains. The Raquette River Race takes place on Saturday near the town of Colton, New York. The Beaver River Race on the Eagle Section will take place on Sunday near Belfort, New York. There will be 2 races on the Beaver River Eagle section on Sunday, a long boat race and a short boat race. These are Class V whitewater races.
