2024 Coeur Triathlon Spring Training Camp
March 21 - 24th, 2024 in Carlsbad, California
Hey Ladies! Let's go camping!
The Coeur Triathlon Spring Training Camp will be back in sunny SoCal this year. We'll be based in Carlsbad, CA and training in the birthplace of triathlon. What could be more motivating?! Probably that our coach this year is Hawaii Ironman and ITU World Champ and Olympic Silver Medalist Michellie Jones. Wowzers!
As a Coeur camper, we'll make sure you are surrounded by encouraging, fun and like-minded women who know how to train hard during the day and play hard once the work sessions are done. We will make sure that you will both push and enjoy yourself and leave a more advanced athlete.
Your full camp package will include:
Dates: Thursday, March 21st - Sunday, March 24th: Camp will begin on Thursday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. and end on Sunday at noon.
Location: Carlsbad, California. The town that Sunset Magazine rated as one of the “20 Game Changing Places to Live” saying: “If towns were people, Carlsbad would be that friend you want to hate but can’t help admiring: smart, sporty, really good-looking, and ambitious.”
And what better place to stay than the beautiful Sheraton Resort and spa. That’s right…spa. The host resort is world class and if you need a little pampering after workouts and talks, you are in the right place.
Carlsbad is 36 miles north of the San Diego International Airport and 53 miles south of John Wayne Airport (in Irvine, California).
The Sheraton Resort...mmm yes please!
Coaching: You're going to be coached by one of the best! The incomprarable Michellie Jones will be coaching and encouraging you as you swim, bike and run around North County San Diego. This lady has more crowns than the King of England. She's an ITU World Champ, an Olympic Silver Medalist, she has a Para-Olympic Gold Medal as an athlete lead and, oh yes...she's won Kona too. Giddy up, indeed.
The Details: Sure, they say triathlon is an individual sport. But that's only partially true. Challenging training sessions are always more fun and bearable with friends. And what better way to meet new best friends than by sweating your booty off while trying to get better?
The final camp itinerary will be sent by early March.
