Join us for this iconic Trail Run held at the Home of the 11th Marines on Camp Pendleton.  The race offers multiple distance choices including a Super Hero Kids Run and features the famous Heartbreak Ridge Hill climb.

Heartbreak Ridge Run is the first race of the 2024 Tactical Triad.

All runners who complete Heartbreak Ridge,  Run to the Radar (May 4) and Buffalo Alley (Sept 28), in 2024 and will receive a Tactical Triad Medal after they finish the Buffalo Alley race.

8:00am – 1/2 Marathon Start

8:10am - 1K Kids Super Hero Run Start

8:30am – 10K Start

8:40am - 5K Start

11:30am - Course Closes 

Age limits

1/2 Marathon & 10K - 13+

5K -  9+

1K - 4-12 yrs.

Directions​

Las Pulgas entrance:  From Interstate 5, take the Las Pulgas exit and head east towards the Las Pulgas gate. Continue on Las Pulgas for 4-miles until you reach Camp Pulgas (43 Area)​

​Main Gate entrance:  From the main gate, stay on Vandergrift for about a mile until you reach Stuart Mesa/Ash Road.  Turn LEFT and proceed North 7-miles to Las Pulgas Road, turn RIGHT and continue 4-miles to reach Camp Pulgas (43 Area)

Heartbreak Ridge is now open to the EVERYONE with the following stipulations:

• Those without Base Access must arrange to be escorted in on race morning by an authorized base patron. 
• The Hard Corps Race Series cannot provide base escorts. Join a friend or family member who is an authorized base patron to participate.  

Please do not register for the run unless this requirement has been coordinated.  Patrons who don’t make arrangements to enter Camp Pendleton will be turned away and no refund will be issued.
