2024 OMBAC OMSURF 30th Annual Classic Longboard Surfing Contest

Proceeds benefit The Prevent Drowning Foundation of San Diego.

September 21, 2024, at North Side of Crystal Pier, Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA

Important Times:

Beach check-in 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM

First heat paddle out 8:15 AM

Separate divisions for Open, Wahine, and Menehune (youth 16 years old and under)

The contest is an opportunity for surfers and their vintage surfboards to gather for a nostalgic competition that has become more of an event than a contest.

All contestants surf on 1969 or older longboards, 9′ or longer, with no leash.

T-shirts and other OMBAC surfwear will be available for purchase at the contest.

Contestant Entry Fee - $35 pre-register, price increases to $45 on Thursday, September 19th at midnight.

Contestant entry fee includes a contest t-shirt.
