33rd Annual Runnin' of the Green Lucky 7K (ish) Run/Walk

RUNNIN OF THE GREEN 2021

Sláinte! or "to your health" - join us for the 33rd annual Runnin of the Green! 

We take our Irish fun seriously and this is a seriously fun event! 

We are excited to bring you a COVID safe in-person event in 2021 (alongside a virtual option)!  There will be some changes for this year, including...

We are returning to the event's roots and taking it off the streets and back into one of Denver's beautiful parks!  This year's event will be held at Washington Park on Sunday, March 14th!  This move is to accommodate COVID mitigation requirements.  

In accordance with Covid safety requirements this event will be capped and will have wave starts to accomodate smaller groups and social distancing.  If you haven't participated in a run/walk event under these guidelines, please check out our COVID-19 Health and Safety Protocols for more details.

LUCKY NEWS, we have lowered registration fees!!  AND we are pretty sure you are destined for a PR as the course will be a bit shy of a true 7K - why not give it a go with our unique 7K'ish distance!  (Between the park layout and the mitigation requirements the course will be a but closer to 4 miles than the usual 4.3)

For so many of you, this event is an annual tradition and we are so thankful for you!  You have helped us raise thousands of dollars for charity over the years.  If you are new to this event, we welcome you with open arms! 

We can't wait to see each and every one of you for this year's Runnin of the Green!

• 7:30 Bib Pickup (no walk-up registration)
• 8:00 a.m. - Wave 1 Start
• 8:30 a.m. - Wave 2 
• 9:00 a.m. - Wave 3
• 9:30 a.m. - Wave 4
• 10:00 a.m. - Wave 5
• 10:30 a.m. - Wave 6
• 11:00 a.m. - Wave 7
• 11:30 a.m. - Wave 8

*Limited capacity in each wave.  You get to choose your wave start time during registration.  Please encourage your friends and family to sign up in the same wave as soon as possible after you register.  Because as much as we WANT To help you out, once a wave is full, it's full.  Even if it is your best friend's cousin whose aunt is visiting from Ireland.

Bib Pick up will also be available on event day starting at 7:30 a.m.  Please don't arrive more than 30 minutes prior to your start time.  There is plenty of parking at South High School and around the perimeter of the park.
