In its 48th year, this fun Thanksgiving tradition welcomes people to Denver’s beautiful Washington Park for a four-mile run and walk supporting Mile High United Way.  We are excited to be bringing this tradition back for an in-person experience this year! 

Your registration supports families across Metro Denver. All proceeds from the event support Mile High United Way programs and Community Priorities, including: giving all children a strong start, supporting education and academic success, and creating economic opportunity for all. Start Waves  - 4 Mile Run/Walk

For increased safety and social distancing we will have for 4 separate start waves starting every 30 minutes.

There will be a limited capacity in each wave so please encourage your friends and family to register as soon as possible!  

Family Fun-Run

Enjoy a new and slightly longer course making for an even more enjoyable experience!  Still less than a mile, this option is perfect for getting everyone moving before the day's festivities begin!  

Furry Friends

Be sure to add your furry friends at registration to guarantee their very own pet bandana. 

Event Day Schedule

  • 7:30 a.m. - Registration opens
  • 8:15 a.m. - Wave 1 corrals will open
  • 8:45 a.m. - Opening ceremonies
  • 9:00 a.m. - Wave 1 starts 
  • 9:30 a.m. - Wave 2 starts
  • 10:00 a.m. - Wave 3 starts
  • 10:30 a.m. - Wave 4 starts
  • 10:40 a.m. - Little Gobbler Family Fun Run starts

This option is only available through November 8th and must be selected at the time of registration. For any questions concerning your mailed packets, please email info@halsports.net.

Advance Packet Pickup at Boulder Running Company (Cherry Creek Location)

  • Sunday, November 21 11AM-2PM
  • Tuesday, November 23 10AM-6PM
  • Wednesday, November 24 10AM-2PM

Parking

Parking will be available at South High School, around the perimeter of Washington Park, and in the stadium lot south of South High School. 

What to Bring

Don't forget to bring your ID to the race if you want to partake in the post-race craft beer garden.
