Children and youth in care have to overcome many obstacles before they will find their forever families, and so will we!

The Adoption Council of Canada in partnership with the OCR Academy are extremely excited to host: Adoptwalk 2016: Extreme Obstacle Edition!

With over 25 obstacles for ALL Levels of Fitness to enjoy! There will also be obstacles that are just the right size for children and families to overcome together! Bouncy castle on-site as well!

All you need to bring with you are your superpowers and superhero team name.

Join us as well for a BBQ and special celebration with families who have finalized their adoptions this year!

Proceeds from AdoptWalk 2016: Extreme Obstacle Edition:

Without permanent families, the children in care of our provincial/territorial foster care system will age out of that system without the support, connections and advocates all of us need. Many will go on to homelessness, incarceration or poverty. Some take their own lives. Proceeds will support the Adoption Council of Canada's initiatives to find families and improve outcomes for the 30,000 children and youth in Canada who need permanent families.
