America's Birthday Dash 4M

Party like it's 1776!  

It's America's Birthday and we're ready to celebrate.  So grab your friends and family and join us at Washington Park on July 4th! 

Our party planners tell us there will be face painting, finisher medals, music, birthday signs (you can even personalize one to go out on the course), AND a unique race division that benefits Summer Birthdays (summer birthdays - it's your time to shine - you know who you are - you missed out on taking treats to school - having the whole class sing Happy Birthday...this party is for you!).  

Want to know more about the Birthday Race Division?  If your birthday falls on July 4th you will get a 2 minute advantage in your finish time.  Participants whose birthday falls within 30 days before or after July 4th, your time will be adjusted proportionately in intervals of 4 seconds.  For example, a July 1st birthday will gain you a 1 minute 48 second advantage while an Aug 1st birthday will gain you an 12 second advantage.  PRESENTS (Awards) will be awarded to top finishers!

It's not a birthday party if there's not dessert right? Get ready for some treats in our post race celebration!  Cake? Ice Cream? Apple Pie? what will it be...it'll be like a Suprise Party!

Don't forget to bring the kids...our Kids Firecracker Fun Run is THE place for your little ones to kick off their July 4th celebration!

• 8:25 a.m. - USATF Race Walk 4 Mile Starts
• 8:28 a.m. - Athletes with Disabilities Start
• 8:30 a.m. - 4 Mile Run/Walk Starts
• 8:30 a.m. - Festivities/Post-event expo opens
• 8:30 a.m. - ABD's Got Talent Showcase sign up here
• 9:45 a.m. - Firecracker Free Kids Fun Run (8 & Under)
• 9:55 a.m - Awards Ceremony and Costume Contest
