Apollo 11: Small Steps and Giant Leaps | Petits pas et grande avancée

DESCRIPTION

Fifty years ago, Apollo 11 landed on the Moon — marking a giant leap for humankind.

Join us at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum as we celebrate the anniversary of this incredible milestone! Curator Erin Gregory and Science Advisor Jesse Rogerson will reflect on the Apollo 11 mission, and discuss NASA's plans to return to the Moon with its Lunar Gateway project. The presentation will be followed by a Q-&-A session with members of the audience. The Museum will also be offering great activities throughout the day, designed to get young and inquisitive minds thinking about what the future of Space exploration holds!
