Arizona Health & Physical Education 5K

We’ve created a run/walk event that brings together the community and businesses, taking the important message of fitness, health, education and resources to the streets.

Why participate?

• Use this as an excuse to exercise. We all need more of it. Your heart will thank you!
• Friendship — ask a friend or family member to join you. Trust us, they will thank you later!
• Raise money for a good cause — $10 of your registration fee will help support our mission AND sponsor a local teacher or school to receive The Hip Hop Healthy Heart Program for Children™ curriculum.
• Show your support to the community — be a role model for a healthy and active lifestyle. Your community needs you!
• Sponsor a child — want to be a real local hero? Sponsor a child to run/walk and allow them to experience the joy and camaraderie of crossing the "finish line" and celebrating with friends/family.

Arizona Health & Physical Education provides leadership through continuing professional development and advocacy that ensures effective delivery of evidence-informed school physical education and community based physical activity programs that foster healthy, active, and physically literate youth.
