DESCRIPTION

March 25, 2022 - Race Eve
Noon - 6 PM: Packet pick-up and late registration at History Museum of Mobile Courtyard on Royal Street.

March 26, 2022 - Race Day
6 AM - Race time: Packet pick-up at Colonial Fort Conde on Royal Street.

Late registration available, but runners are not guaranteed to be in race day results if they register after 7 AM.

7:40 AM - 7:55 AM: Opening Ceremonies
7:58 AM - 10K Wheelchair Start at Government and Royal
8:00 AM - 10K Start at Government and Royal
8:20 AM - 5K Start at Government and Joachim

Parking
Arrive early on race day to allow time to park and get to Mardi Gras Park area. Parking lots at the south end of Royal Street, parking ramp on Royal Street by the Renaissance Hotel, parking lots on St. Emmanuel and on Government at Joachim. Surface parking on side streets.

 

 

Mobile's Azalea Trail Run will celebrate 44 years of running the streets of Mobile at its blooming best - join us!

The Azalea Trail Run offers USATF certified 10K and 5K race courses, plus a 2K Fun Run/Walk. All races start and finish in downtown Mobile. All courses are flat and fast. Water and comfort stations are provided along the courses.

The 10K course will close 2 hours after the race start. Participants that have not completed the race by 10 AM will be asked to move to the sidewalk.

▪ Course Restrictions - For Everyone's Safety! Strollers, baby joggers, roller blades, balls, bicycles, headphones, ear buds and pets are prohibited on the 5K and 10K race courses.  

Team Competition - 10K and 5K Azalea Trail Run encourages friendly team competition in open, corporate, church, school, and military categories.   Each team member resgisters individually and team captains submit the team roster.  Team Captains must complete and submit a team roster by March 17, 2022. Winning teams will receive specially designed awards.

Wheelchairs – 10K only The wheelchair race will be held in accordance to rules set by Wheelchairsports U.S.A.

ATR Health and Fitness Expo - two day event with medical and merchandise vendors, free screenings, music, and post-race celebration.

ATR Participant Perks:

  • Registered participants will receive short sleeved race shirts
  • Two day Health and Fitness Expo with merchandise and medical vendors
  • Azalea Trail Run participants wearing their race bibs will receive a $3 discount at the Downtown Cajun Cook-Off on Saturday, March 26, 2022. The Cajun Cook-Off takes place in Cathedral Square - easy walking distance from Colonial Fort Conde. Proceeds from the Downtown Cajun Cook-off benefits the Child Advocacy Center of Mobile (www.cacmobile.org)

Saturday, March 26, 2022

6:00 AM: ATR Health and Fitness Expo Opens

7:55 AM: 10K Wheelchair Start

8:00 AM: 10K Race Start

8:15 AM: 5K Race Start

9:30 AM: 2K Fun Run Start

Food and beverages after the races.
