The second annual Behavioral Health Summit for Jackson County Schools will help connect school representatives with the resources, guidance and tools they need to effectively connect youth to behavioral health supports.

Who will benefit from attending:
The summit will focus on services for youth in grades K-12. It is geared toward Jackson County educators, school and district administrators, student council representatives, school board members, support staff and counselors. Participants will be able to focus their learning by attending sessions that are most relevant to their needs.

The day will include presentations, workshops, panel discussions and tabling with relevant resources.   

Focus areas:

  • Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS): Behavioral Health Supports across the MTSS framework 
  • Belonging at school: Applying racial equity, inclusion and diversity learnings.
  • Behavioral health navigation and referral pathways: accessing behavioral health resources.
