On Sunday, April 29th Children for Change (C4C) will be setting forth on a hugely fun and community-full hike up Bald Hill in San Anselmo followed by a Youth Showcase of Good and a celebration of the voices of this generation.

C4C’s biggest fundraiser of the year, the C4C Challenge is your chance to challenge yourself by helping raise support and awareness for Children for Change...oh...and to have a whole lotta fun while doing it :)

Tickets: $25/person before 5pm on 4/28. Thereafter (including day-of registration) $30/person

A percentage of proceeds go to our “Spotlight Area” partners for their tireless work with the homeless, refugees, animals and the environment.

REGISTER and CHOOSE YOUR SPOTLIGHT

When you register to hike, you will be asked to choose your Challenge ‘Spotlight’. Please choose at least one C4C Spotlight so we know where a percentage of your registration fee should go. Spotlights align with our Learning Modules (Animal Care, Environment, Homelessness and Refugees).

FUNDRAISE and SPREAD THE WORD

We encourage you to create or join a fundraising team. All money raised goes directly back into our programs, curriculum & volunteer services geared towards our youth in Ross Valley and beyond. With your help we can make it this a real success! Band together with your kids’ friends and their families...Join forces with other C4C families at your school...Talk to your hiking buddies and hike for a cause (C4C!)...Love your neighbors? Join a team with them! And good news! Spread the word with 5 or more buddies and you get $10 off your registration!

CELEBRATE and LEARN

At this year’s C4C Challenge, we’re shutting down San Anselmo to spread the good of Children for Change. Well, not exactly...but the Challenge will start and end in Downtown San Anselmo (and yes, Tunstead Avenue will be closed for a few hours). We’re so excited to share all the amazing stuff that we’ve been up to. The post-hike party will be just that - - a time for you to learn about all the current C4C Spotlight areas (homelessness, animal care, refugees and environment) directly from our youth and non-profit partners. We’ll have a DJ and Food. And...best part? All your friends will be there since you’re going to encourage them to come, right?!

Can't Hike But Still want to Participate and/or Support C4C?

Thanks! We'd love your support and would still love to see you participate in the post-party as you are able. You can Donate on our C4C Challenge page or go ahead and register and just come for the post-party (added bonus - if you come down to the event - you'll get a t-shirt even if you don't hike!)
