China Stainless & Special Steel Summit 2025

Starting from 2021, China launched a carbon emissions trading system, and CBAM will be fully implemented in 2026. Laws and regulations aimed at carbon neutrality will continue to be introduced, resulting in increasingly higher carbon costs for steel companies with traditional processes. As the world's largest steel producer, China is also constantly introducing a national carbon pricing mechanism.
