CHKD Cares is a night for nurses to unwind, mix/mingle, win prizes, and have fun. Stop by as a team-building exercise, a night out with colleagues and friends. This event will place an emphasis on the theme of self-care. We hope it will serve as a reminder to “Grow Everyday, Glow Everyday”.

For the past three years, nurses have weathered unprecedented challenges. To honor your continued dedication and selflessness, we invite RNs and LPNs in the community to CHKD Cares: Nurses Night Out. This event welcomes all RNs and LPNs, no matter where they call home, including CHKD nurses, newly graduated or soon-to-be nurses, and nurses who may want to join the CHKD team. We hope our community’s nurses will join us in celebrating you and your dedication to the health and well-being of the community. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.

Since nursing is not only hard work but also “heart” work, CHKD nurses who bring a non-CHKD nurse to the event will be eligible for a $6,000 referral bonus if that nurse is hired.

Parking Information: We recommend the City of Norfolk Town Point Garage located at 108 W Main St, Norfolk, VA 23510. Guests may park at any metered street parking or in any City garage. For those who park in a City garage, a voucher will be given to you at check in to cover the cost.
