Downtown Pedals

DESCRIPTION

Vancouver’s Downtown Association invites you to register for the cutest shortest and coolest bike parade in history! Kids of all ages are free to register for DTPedals, a June 2nd event in conjunction with First Friday Downtown. Thanks to VDA, Art a la Cart, Bike Clark County, Hough Foundation and Heather Brewing Feral Public House, this event will be lots of fun. Let’s make some memories!

  • Rider check in is at 6PM at 11th and Washington Street. _**All minors must have an adult remaining on site.**_
  • An area will be roped off where kids can decorate bikes and helmets before the parade starts. Parents will also have the opportunity to make signs to cheer their kiddos on from the sidelines.
  • Parade starts at 7PM sharp, led by local favorite Couve Cycle! Cheerleaders from All Star Fusion will be great helpers to keep those bikers on track…especially on the return uphill climb. C-Tran will have a bus there so that riders can practice putting their bikes onboard for future excursion.
  • After parading down Main Street, the kids will return to registration for their cups and ribbons, then head to Heathen's side lot for a sugar infused dance party with Get A Life marching band providing the tunes. Heathen will be serving rootbeer floats with their homemade rootbeer and ice cream.

*We ask that all minors be accompanied by an adult on site.
