DESCRIPTION

This spring time foot race kick-starts the Estes Park Rotary Club’s DUCK RACE FESTIVAL!

We want to have a safe race for everyone! Join us by following our “Social Contract” agreement for COVID19 precautions. All participants are asked to wear a face mask at all times, with exception while running in race. Social distancing at the start line and at the separate finish line is expected.

Pricing:

  • Adults: $30.00 (receive one Duck adoption)
  • Youth (14 & under): $25.00
  • Seniors (60 & up): $25.00 (receive one Duck adoption)
  • Add $7.00 to entry cost from April 26th to race day registration.  Register early!

    Adult/Senior Entry Includes:      5K Run/Walk, one DUCK RACE TICKET, & one Free 12 oz Beer at our “Co-Host” local breweries.  Short Sleeve tech shirt add-on for $5.
    Youth Entry Includes: 5K Race entry!  Add-on a short sleeve tech shirt for just $5!

There will not be a an Advance Packet Pick-Up on Friday.  Bibs can be picked up on event day ( Northeast side of Estes Park Parking Structure) beginning at 8AM.

We strongly encourage you to pre-register online, in-person registration will be extremely limited.

 

RACEDAY

  • Start line: Lake Estes Trail, East of Parking Structure, running counter-clockwise around Lake Estes.
  • Finish line: Lake Estes Trail,  West of the Lake Front Parking area, north side of Lake Estes.
  • Packet pickup: 8:00AM, please follow our social distancing set up. Northeast side of Estes Park Parking Structure.
  • Start: 9:00AM, time trial spacing (this will not be a mass start, social distancing will exist in the start corral)

Award category:1st and 2nd place male and female overall; then 1st and 2nd place, male and female, in the following categories.  13 & under, 14 – 16, 17 – 19, 20- 29, 30 – 39, 40- 49, 50 – 59, 60 – 69, 70 – 79, 80 & older

If your adopted rubber DUCK wins, you will be eligible to win:

2021 Grand Prize: Redeemable Cash $5000.

2021 Second Prize: Redeemable Cash $2500.

2021 Third Prize: Redeemable Cash $1000.
