Guided Meditation, Moment of Silence & Eat a Peach for Peace
All are welcome to join us in the gardens
(or greenhouse, if raining)

The 2024 theme for the International Day of Peace is:
“Cultivating a Culture of Peace”
Declaration and Programme of Action on a Culture of Peace.
In that declaration, the United Nations’ most inclusive body recognized that peace “not only is the absence of conflict, but also requires a positive, dynamic participatory process where dialogue is encouraged and conflicts are solved in a spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.”
As we gather for our Noontime Moment of Silence ~
Feel free to enjoy a self tour of our regenerative food forest, medicinal gardens & fairy realm.
We also invite you all to experience our beautiful
Botanical Greenhouse & Pay What You Can Plant Sale
immediately following the ceremony from 1-3pm.
At 11:30 we will begin to settle into our spots.
Katherine will then lead a guided meditation that will deliver us into our Moment of Silence & Prayer for World Peace at High Noon.
As a way to close this simple community ceremony, we will joyfully
Eat A Peach For Peace!
Inspired by The beloved Allman Brothers.
Make sure to stop by our friends at Steere Orchard or Barden Family Orchard and support your local farmer by buying some delicious local peaches to eat at our event.
Donations are always gratefully accepted and help support our year round community spaces & events.
If you unable to join us in person,
you can still partake in this global movement from wherever you are.
Feel free to create your own gathering and borrow our idea to Eat A Peach For Peace!
