Location:

Race day packet pick-up and race day registration will take place at Elberta High School (3355 Main St, Elberta, AL 36530). The 5K race will start on Kichler Circle South. The Fun Run will start immediately after the finish of the 5K; the Fun Run will start and finish on Chicago St.

Distance:

Runners follow a certified (AL6029JD) 5K course through the countryside around Elberta, AL. The Fun Run is approximately 1 mile.

Registration:

Register by mail (entries should be postmarked by October 21) at EVFD, PO Box 152, Elberta, AL 36530, in person at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on October 26, or online (Events.com) until 4 AM, October 27.

Early packet pick-up will be on October 27 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at the Elberta Park.

Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6:30 – 7:45 AM at Elberta Middle School.

Awards:

5K: Top male and female, and top three male and female in age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-75, 75+. The awards ceremony will take place at 10AM at the Main Stage.

FUN RUN: Top 3 overall boys and girls, must be registered for the FUN RUN.

Shirts:

To guarantee a shirt on race day, your application must be received by October 14.

Post-Race Party:

Awards, music, and food at the Elberta German Sausage Festival.

Runners will receive 2 beverage tickets and 1 meal ticket.
