Ethical Foraging, Plant Walk & Cooking with Edibles

559 Rocky Hill Rd, Scituate, RI 02857, USA

DESCRIPTION

We believe the best way to learn about plants is through observing and interacting with living examples on a regular basis.

Join us for our 1st Community Plant Walk of 2023

Monday May 29th

11-3:00pm

There has been many new wild edible and medicinal plants volunteering themselves here at Skydog Farm and we can't wait to explore them with you!

Our friends, Bear and Aidale, are returning this year to lead us around the farmscape to discover the Early Summer Wild Plants offering themselves to us for  food and medicine.

This year, Bear and Adeile are offering a more in depth experience by adding an Ethical Foraging Class before setting off on our walk about the farm.

Throughout the afternoon's walk we will be gathering plants for Bear to show us how to prepare some of his favorite recipes.

Please bring your own bowl, utensil, mug and napkin for a shared meal in the Sanctuary Gardens as a way to end out afternoon together.

$75 per person

Please Note: WALK WILL TAKE PLACE RAIN or SHINE
