Festival Of Floats

We are planning a National Float Day Celebration, a unique gathering to celebrate community, and the incredible opportunity the city of San Diego provides for its residents for outdoor activities at San Diego Mission Bay. The gathering will occur on Sunday, July 30th, 2023, between 11 AM and 5 PM. We anticipate a crowd of up to 2,500 participants who will enjoy a day of floating on the bay while enjoying music and good company. This event will uphold all local laws, ensure participant safety, and maintain a clean environment. Additionally, a portion of the event's proceeds will benefit local beach cleanup organizations and charities. We want people to grab their floats, grab their best beachie friends, and have some fun in the sun on their floats!
