Florida Dance Magic Country Swing Competitions

Florida Dance Magic welcomes back Country Swing this year!

This year we have two fun and exciting country swing competitions available!

Open Country Swing Strictly

Enter this competition with your own partner, no matter what level you are! 

Lifts ARE allowed, a drop will be considered a disqualification. 

High Low Country Swing Jack and Jill

This will be a Jack and Jill, you enter as either a lead or a follow and randomly get paired with another partner. 

HIGH: You compete in intermediate/advanced, or you compete in the higher levels of west coast swing

LOW: You compete in newcomer/novice, or are new to the dance and have not competed before

This competiton will have a tournament style final, so you may only enter the competiton in one role. 

REQUIREMENT TO COMPETE:

You must have one of these two passes to be elegible to compete in the country swing competitons (purchased separetly from your country swing competiton tickets, available on the Florida Dance Magic Website):

• A full weekend pass to Florida Dance Magic
• A Country Swing Day pass (NOT AN EVENING OR SPECTATOR PASS)

 8:00PM Deadline to Register and Pick up your competiton number in person, outside of the Coral Gables Ballroom (different bib number than WCS competitions)

9:30PM Competiton Check In

10:00PM Competition Starts
